In 2017, the Northbrook Park District approached RATIO to help envision the next 30 years for Meadowhill Park, one of the largest and most beloved public spaces in this prosperous community just north of Chicago.
Together with Park District staff, the public, and other community stakeholders, RATIO’s multidisciplinary team is working to envisage creative ways to balance program between the Park and the adjacent school while providing new amenities requested by the community. The evolving Master Plan creates a cohesive series of trails within the Park, connecting to previously inaccessible areas like the North Branch of the Chicago River while maintaining the athletics program that keeps the Park vibrant.
